چکیده
Background: Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion of the Aorta (REBOA) is a helpful adjunct in management hemorrhagic shock due to bleeding abdomen or pelvis. Ischemia distal occlusion concern; intermittent aortic balloon inflation (i-REBOA) novel way achieve decreased ischemia time.
Methods: This study was conducted using data from multinational ABO Trauma Registry. All patients entered between January 2016 and December 2019 were included.
Results: The sample consisted 157 patients. There 57 i-REBOA group (36%) 100 REBOA (64%). groups similar gender (P = 0.50), age 0.17), mechanism injury 0.42), severity score 0.13). levels international normalized ratio (INR) < 0.01), activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) 0.01) lactate 0.02) higher group. Total times longer 0.01). Major complication rates did not differ groups. Mortality Emergency Department (ED) (3.8% for vs 10.1%; P within 24 hours (43.4% 38.2%; 0.54), at 30 days (63.6% 48.4%; 0.07).
Conclusions: this registry show that currently being used may allow total without morbidity mortality rates.

The inflammatory sequelae of aortic balloon occlusion in hemorrhagic shock.
BACKGROUND Resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion of the aorta (REBOA) is a hemorrhage control and resuscitative adjunct that has been demonstrated to improve central perfusion during hemorrhagic shock. The aim of this study was to characterize the systemic inflammatory response associated and cardiopulmonary sequelae with 30, 60, and 90 min of balloon occlusion and shock on the release o...

15 صفحه اولAortic balloon occlusion is effective in controlling pelvic hemorrhage.
BACKGROUND The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of resuscitative endovascular aortic balloon occlusion (REBOA) of the distal aorta in a porcine model of pelvic hemorrhage. METHODS Swine were entered into three phases of study: injury (iliac artery), hemorrhage (45 s), and intervention (180 min). Three groups were studied: no intervention (NI, n = 7), a kaolin-impregnated g...
